Commercial Manager - Bristol, UK

Applicable is seeking a new member of the Sales team, to join as a Commercial Manager, to manage all aspects of the commercial relationships and revenues in a designated set of customers, supported by an excellent service management and service delivery team.

About the role 

Applicable are seeking applications from enthusiastic and ambitious account managers who have a good working knowledge of the UC and cloud market.

While maintaining strong commercial relationships with key customers and partners, you will be the primary point of contact for all commercial matters for your designated customer accounts, working either directly with customers or in partnership with our partners, responsible for driving recurring revenues and new opportunities in our enterprise account base.


This role is based in our Bristol office.

The commercial manager will require the following skill set and experience:


  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Applicable services, and relevance to customers.
  • Excellent customer relationship, strategic selling and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently, high level of commercial awareness including sales lead to cash process, project and service pricing, commercial terms and conditions.
  • Demonstrable commitment to the Applicable Values and to realising Applicable's vision. 
  • Demonstrable service culture focus, working closely with Service Management, Service Delivery and Project Delivery.
  • Ability to prepare quality written correspondence, and internal and external-facing documentation.
  • Excellent external-facing, presentation and negotiating skills.


  • Thorough knowledge of the UC and messaging market for cloud and hybrid and managed services. 
  • Knowledge of software licensing sales and licensing programmes.
