About the role

In the IT Solutions Engineer role, you will play a key role in providing business and technical skills to develop repeatable processes and supporting documentation for software and hardware applications to enable Applicable to sell the service repeatable and profitable fashion.

This is a technical Solution Design role (IT Solution Engineer), taking and managing requirements and translating them into a “Product” which can be repeatedly delivered by our Project Office and technical teams. You will play a key role in designing, building, configuring, testing applications and devices and you will be able to automate repeatable tasks (Process or Technical). You will also be able to write and clear documents/processes. 

Key activities include:

•      Validation of business and Product requirements

•      Ensure the developed product meets all Business Requirements

•      Validate all solution design options

•      Development of the processes and documentation to support the internal and partner Sales team to understand and sell the Product

•      Development of the processes and documentation to enable the Service Operations teams to deliver and support the Product                 (Applications/Devices)

•      Authoring supporting documentation

Your personal skills will play a key part, you will be able to work as part of a team and interface to a wide variety of teams including:

•      Architecture

•      Product Management

•      Sales

•      Consultancy

•      Professional Services

•      Service Transition

•      Service Operations

•      Security

•      Third Parties

This is predominantly a technical role requiring a broad technical knowledge of Operating systems and Applications. You will have experience with:

•      Networking skills include subnetting, DNS, IP address management

•      Microsoft Windows Server

•      Microsoft Active Directory

•      Microsoft Skype for Business

•      Office365 Microsoft Teams

•      UC experience with AudioCodes or SONOS UC equipment (SBC)

•      PowerShell or equivalent scripting language

Bonus point for:

•      Virtualisation technologies, including Hyper-V

•      Microsoft Office365

•      Microsoft Exchange

•      Microsoft SharePoint

•      Microsoft SQL or other relational database experience

•      Basic Knowledge of Linux

On a daily basis, you will get involved in the execution of any information security activity as guided by your line manager or by the Information Security function in Service Design. You will also see yourself involved in:

•      Exemplify Applicable’s project delivery and service culture.

•      Other duties as directed by your manager from time to time.

About you

We are looking for the following technical skills and qualifications:      

MCSE Server Infrastructure or MCSE Cloud Platform & Infrastructure

Microsoft Communication MCSE

Ideal Experience: At least 3 large scale EV projects.
